Packing boxes

Small boxes

• Place heavy items in smaller boxes to avoid overloading the box (and back muscles), like books.
• Place delicate items in smaller boxes so they don’t end up at the bottom of the heap and risk being damaged.

Medium boxes

• Place bulkier heavy items in medium boxes.
• Use soft pillows or towels to cushion and protect valuables.
• Good for miscellaneous bulky items like cords, toys and linen.

Large boxes

• Place items like large pillows, blankets and bulk clothes in these boxes.
• Large items like a sewing machine can be placed inside, but with lots of light soft items to reduce the weight and protect it.
