Kitchen, bathroom & laundry
These are the main “equipment” rooms of the home, with lots of bits and bobs. Thankfully, most of them are small. Again, everyone’s situation is different – imagine unpacking one cupboard or drawer into a box, and then multiply it by the compartments in your kitchen.
Bedrooms
Most of the items for packing are clothes and linen. This is a good place to practise some tidy packing hacks:
- Use a sheet to wrap up swathes of hanger items, so you can just hang them straight back up.
- Reserve your pillows and doonas for wrapping and cushioning fragile items like large electronics.
